Job-Level Overrides and Import Settings

While the HCSS Web Edition Pre-Bill Module is enabled at the application level, EWBills allows you to override several settings for individual jobs. This gives you flexibility during transition periods or for special cases where you need different behavior than the system default.

How to Access Job-Level Settings

  1. Open the Job Setup screen for the job you want to configure.

  2. Scroll to the HeavyJob tab.

Available Job-Level Overrides

  • Import Timecards After Date
    Use this setting for jobs already in progress when you activate the module. It tells the system to ignore timecards dated before the specified date.

    Example: Set to the day you switch over to Web Edition to avoid duplicating pre-bills from earlier work.

  • Do Not Use HeavyJob Web Edition
    Check this box if you want to disable the integration for a particular job and continue using the traditional XML import instead.

    Note: When this is selected, the HCSS sync will be disabled and XML import will be re-enabled for this job.

  • Timecard Status to Import
    Select which HCSS timecard status to import for this job. This allows you to override the Application setting if this job is handled differently. 

  • Do Not Import MSE for this Job
    This setting is only available if you have enabled MSE import at the application level. If checked, MSE (Material, Sub, Equipment) records from HCSS will be excluded for this job.

    Useful for jobs where MSE tracking is handled outside of HCSS.
